  • Folks working for the City of Clifton tend to stay with us a long time, so openings don’t happen very often. When available, openings will be posted below and advertised in local newspapers.
  • The hiring City officer will contact applicants directly if they are selected for an interview, and when possible we interview as we receive applications, hiring when we agree we have found a good new hire, so it’s important to get an application completed and returned to City Hall as soon as possible.
  • Open positions may be closed at any time. The City of Clifton is an EEO employer. Applications may be obtained from City Hall. Background checks, drug tests and physical examinations are required for permanent full time employment.
