Garbage Service

The City of Clifton contracts with a third party for garbage pickup in the City. Questions about services should be directed to City Hall.

Pick Up Time
Garbage collection schedule is as follows:

• Residential trash pickup – please have your garbage curb-side by 7:00 am.
  • Homes North of FM219 : Tuesdays and Fridays
  • Homes South of FM219 : Mondays and Thursdays
• City “Brush days” – open for resident-hauled brush, branches, leaves and grass cuttings from 9-11am, every second Saturday of each month (weather permitting).
• A “City Wide Clean Up” is held in the spring for refuse too bulky for normal residential pickup. The date will be published in the Clifton Record, on the water bill and posted at City Hall.
