Clifton Fairgrounds

The Clifton Fairgrounds lie along the eastern boundary of the City of Clifton, skirting the Bosque River. The twenty-acre grounds are the setting of numerous activities throughout the year including the Central Texas Youth Fair, the Clifton Rodeo, an annual carnival, and stock shows and sales. The amenities include a rodeo arena, and modern and historic fair buildings in an expansive setting that is conveniently located near the Historic Downtown District.

The property is owned by the City of Clifton. The facilities are the result of collaborative efforts by the City of Clifton, Central Texas Youth Fair Association, Clifton Economic Development Corporation, Clifton Horseshow Association, the Clifton Lions Club, Clifton Main Street, and generations of volunteers.
Legacy Park Historic District sits at the entrance to the complex of arenas, barns, and fair buildings on the site. The historic structures were erected in 1937 for the Central Texas Fair.
